Windlass Ulfberht ..... An amazing value in a great sword!

Just received my first Windlass Sword recently,... the Windlass Ulfberht.

I can't tell you how happy I was with this purchase. Sword was $158 plus $18 to sharpen, and my goodness it is sharp. To be honest I really didn't expect much, but this sword is a beauty. All components are rock solid and the blade is straight and beautiful. Balance is excellent and sword recovery after a cut is outstanding. This is just a great little sword.

My only dislike is the scabbard, which is not wood covered with leather, but just formed leather. Very well made, but I wish it had a wood core.

I don't know what kind of problems Windlass has had in the past, but I will gladly purchase another Windlass sword if my Ulfberht is an indication of their other models.
