I own 3 Musashi swords. Musashi Japanese God of Wind from the 150 & under line. This is a great little sword for the money, it is an awesome light duty cutter! 1045 Through hardened monosteel blade with wirebrushed hamon and bo hi.

Fittings are not that great on this series.
Mouko from the 150-200 dollar range. This is my favorite Musashi. It is a 1060 Through Hardened monosteel blade with a fake but very nice acid etched hamon. Bo hi helps reduce weight. I have cut many things with this blade, even a 2X4! Very tough and resilient blade. Where this sword really shines in the fittings. All are tight and good looking, and have held up well.

Musashi Black Asuka tanto rounds it out very nicely. An elegant looking 1045 Through Hardened blade is surrounded by nice copper fittings and is very sharp.

I would recommend buying from Roger(Zinje) at Musashiswords.com They offer an SBG discount, a price beat guarantee, a satisfaction guarantee, and free continental shipping. Roger has also proven to be very customer service oriented.

I would definately recommend Musashi to the beginner to intermediate sword practicioners looking for a great buy and service that you can trust.
