Two good swords

by Adam Thurkettle
(Ipswich, Suffolk, UK)

I have brought a number of swords made by cold steel all of which have been superb of particular note is the 1796 light cavalry sabre and the Bagua sabre. My friends and I have a fondness for martial arts and on the study of various forms of sword use. We are also working on developing a blend of styles.

The Bagua sabre, was so finely designed and created a sword that it was the perfect weapon to help develop this form, we found it so good in fact that 4 of my friends all went out and bought one each. The Calvary sabre is an equally fine sword with ferocious cutting power. Coldsteel truly make some of the best swords money can buy.

I agree with that

Cold Steel do make some very nice Chinese swords, especially as this end of the market is (at least to date) somewhat underserviced.

All this will likely change soon, but I still wouldn't hesitate to recommend their swords. Definitely great value for money.
