The charcoal Black Tsuba Line from Musashi is one of the best lines in the sub 100 dollar Katana business. Unfortunately, it is being liquidated. However, just in time for christmas, these swords are going for just $50!

I own one of these swords, the Kenjiin, and I must say the geometry of the edge is simply amazing. It will outlast and masahiro and can cut even blastic bottles with ease.

The same cannot be said for a few of the others. The original tosuken line has a few offerings that, while good value, are not up to par with the Charcaol Black Tsubs line or Tokusen IIBR. I remember owning the Ryuu and being shamed by my friend who owned the Ehada from the CBT series.

All in all, there is not reason to buy a Masahiro off ebay or another site if you are judging the purchase off price and cutting ability. Musashi also has fine customer service and fast (and Free in the US!) shipping. You cannot go wrong.

Sorry didnt mean to make that 4 paragraphs. All in all, Musashi is a great company and the CBT series is (or was, as of soon) their best line.

Excellent value for money

It is a shame that this line is being discontinued. But I think that with Roger Canedas feedback, their swords as a whole continue to evolve and are definitely the best choice for sub US$100 Katana.
