I own a Chen Chinese broadsword and (double-edged) sword...and they are unquestionably the finest Chinese swords on the market today, in terms of strength and durability. I'm certain that our Chinese martial forefathers would have been thrilled to walk into battle carrying one of these broadswords!

I am also an avid practitioner of iaido and I own two Paul Chen katanas as well as an authentic katana that is roughly 100 years old. Mr. Chen's swords are incredible - strong, durable, and they handle very, very well. To say that I'm impressed would be a serious understatement.

Whenever I'm asked about what sword(s) a martial arts enthusiast should buy, I recommend Hanwei. Period.
