I didn't want to spend a lot of money so the discontinued items from Armory of God caught my eye, a $265.oo medieval sword for $119.00. The ad stated that the swords is of SCA-LARP quality whatever that is, and the weight was 3lbs 6 ozs. It has a slighty diamond shape and came with a dull blade although advertised as battle ready.

It has a slight diamond shaped blade for thrusting and a heavy blade for slashing. I have seen a similar sword in the French orginal about 1350 and this sword is a dead ringer.

Sharping the blade was a pain but otherwise the sword is quite nice for the money. I haven't test it for bending but believe that this sword was meant to be stiff.
