name confusion

Actually, I don't have any sword from this brand or any other brand. Yet I really like their production line, each of their asian sword gives me a great pleasure just by looking at their picture.

Now that's the good part, here comes the worst part. I ,now don't laugh, for some moment believed that Cheness Cutlery is Paul Chen's company (happens because the chen in Cheness and paul Chen is similar don't you think so :-) ). Thank God for the Hanwei catalog posted in the SBG newsletter I now know the truth. :-) :-)

The next worst part, there's only two so don't worry (not to much at least), is the CAS Iberia and Hanwei. It is a good thing that this website is now up and running, it is very helpful for people like me (hope there's only one like me).

To end this, I just want to say that in my opinion, even though I don't have any of their sword, Cas Hanwei produce good, very sharp, asian sword. Hope to be able to buy one soon enough.

Thanks!

Thanks Ryan, part of the reason for creating SMG is to clear up this kind of confusion. It can indeed get pretty complicated, and was funny when people would talk about 'Paul Chen' swords and old timers would ask 'which one?' Lol.
