My experience with the Musashi wind dragon.

When I first layed eyes on it, I was stunned. It was too good to be true. Sadly, the sword was not mine, haha, it was a friends, I was just doing a touch-up.

I promised that I would re-fit the tsuba. Opening the box, and taking out the blade, it looked great! The polish was excellent, the edge like a razor, habaki was polished, but branded with an ugly "Musashi" logo. The saya was excellent too, it had a decent polish, sageo was pretty nice. I had to first refit the tsuba, the problem, I accidentally put the tsuba on, then the seppa(Yeah...). So, safe to say, it got a TIGHT fit.

It took me 30 minutes to get it off, then I had to put the seppa on, then the tsuba, and so on. It was annoying, in the end, the seppa was a bit loose, but everything else was fine. The only thing that really concerned me was the quality of the tsuka. if you trim your thumb nails, and stack them on top of each other, that was probably the same thickness as the wood at the fuchi region.

I would give my experiences with the blade(Safe to say they very), a 3/5.

If re-mounting the blade was an option, go for it, other than that, I would not touch it.
