Kingsguard Half-Basket Swept Hilt Rapier

This is one meaty Rapier! It features a 39" blade with a 1" width, and an overall length of 48". The blade is hand-forged, high carbon steel. Both the basket and pommel are chromed steel. The thick grip is wood wrapped with a pliable braided wire. The grip is perfect for me since I have long fingers! The scabbard is really nice. It is leather wrapped wood with a chromed steel tip and throat. The half-basket on this hanger is a work of art! I ordered this "beauty" almost a year ago, and have been
happy with it ever since! The price was just over $100.00
U.S. incl. shipping. I,ll say this, Strongblade knows how to pack an item for shipping! That Rapier was packed like it was taking a trip to the moon! The first thing you notice when you open the box and pull out the packing is the size of this Rapier! Like I said "meaty Rapier"! The first thing I did was grab the blade at the hilt and shake the hanger! "No Rattle"! Solid ! This is a great buy all the way around !
