H/T LS tip strength

Hey guys,

Just wanted to chime in, I have the H/T longsword and tested it against metal plate armor. Unlike Paul Southren's sword, the tip suffered NO damage at all, even after penetrating the 1mm steel plates. Test done by other owners seem to prove that the longsword normally doesn't have problems with tip strength. So I think Mr Southren basically got a bad example.

Since I didn't test the sword against garbage cans, I don't know if the normal H/T longsword does a better job at that, I just know that it penetrates tire sidewalls and tatami mats like no other sword I've ever owned. So I wouldn't really worry about thrusting capability.

Thanks for reading.
