Gustav Vasa Rapier

Hi everyone,
I just received my Arms And Armor Gustav Vasa Rapier as a Christmas gift from my wife (thank you, wife). I am not one for writing long articles so I will say is this is an amazing piece. If I strolled the streets in the 16th century this would be my sidearm. The blade still has some heft to it so I would say it's closer to a sword blade than a fencing rapier. With my finger placed over the hilt it does handle very well, but I couldn't imagine fighting for a long period because I could definitely feel wrist fatigue setting in. It is an extremely well built piece with all pieces fitting perfectly together. The blackened hilt is amazing as well. And for the price? Hey, it's hand made in America by a company who obviously loves its craft. Bravo to Arms and Armor.
