Do not buy from Kingofswords.com!!!

Hi Paul! I just thought I'd share to the people some really helpful and useful information to help get your knew site goin which by the way, I think is great!

I purchased a sword from kingofswords.com in August 2007. It cost me over $150! I was given an order confirmation and an estimated date to when they'll ship to my location. 4 days had passed and they still never shipped my order.

I contacted them and they said it was still being processed. So I waited for about 2 weeks and they still had not shipped my order. I tried contacting them again but they never responded. I've sent dozens of emails and left messages on their phone but I had not gotten a reponse. I checked the status of my order on their site and it still sais "order processing/pending".

So I decided to cancel the order and get a refund, but guess what, they never canceled it. I tried contacting them again hundreds of times but I still have not recieved even one response. It is now December of 2007 and they still haven't issued me a refund and they also have not bothered to contact me. December of 2007, that's 4 MONTHS!

As you can see, they owe me over 150 DOLLARS which is a lot of money! I am now in the process of fileing a dispute against kingofswords.com. So please take extreme caution when ordering from their website. They have really bad customer service and they are criminals.

In my opinion, don't even try ordering from kingofswords.com, just don't. They are a really bad company. They're webiste may look flashy, but don't fall into their trap. Remember the old saying, "looks can be decieving".

Hoorah, HOOYA we are thrilled someone got their merchandise and they are happy. You seem to be the ONLY ONE that is happy with their service, be it slow or at all. I will not go back and forth with you, sir. They are what they are! Be glad you got your orders. But, the rest of us are very unhappy about the CROOKS! Our bank is still trying to get a refund. I do not understand why they screw alot of people around and have over 500 complainst and rated F at the BBB. Yet,you are getting your orders.

Im not covering anything just posting my experience with the company. Who are you to accuse me of anything but a legit review? I did say they had some slow shipping sometimes but overall I was happy enough to reorder from them granted I buy from other sites as well.

Well we guess somebodys checking this site to cover their a$$. King of swords is rated F with the BBB and 500 and some odd complainst.(known) If you are the only one that is happy with them, congrats. Somehow, I do not believe that! No more than that site is on the level. 10 orders all right and no problems! You either work for them or you are full of it, buddy! They are CROOKS! They just magically got better for you!

ok, you can add knivesdeal.com .I ordered the e.T. cane/swords, since the deall with king os swords. They took my money out the day it was to ship only the e.T cane/sword was not in stock. I told her to get MY MONEY back in my acc. PDQ. I see it has been refunded. Gee thats great, I enjoy hassles and just making orders for fun and them giving my MONEY back, but no merchandise. I just wonder now, if these items exsist, anywhere. Is there not any reputable place to purchase sword/canes and knives???? These places are mostly a rip of.
We believe swordswords could be the king of swords new domain! Its also, in Georgia. We are finished for a while with this buying. We have NEVER in years had any orders made that were crooks until we started wanting to purchase things of this nature.Ok ,we see the stars is for this site! Mr& Mrs TX

I've been a customer since early 2011 I have placed over 10 orders with Kingofswords.com and have not been disappointed. a few times shipping took a little longer than I expected but my emails with status updates were answered promptly. I have recommended them to a few friends and they are among my favorite sites to buy from I also live to shop with another company in Florida called hanzoswords.com

We rescently placed an order of course, without checking them out. Red flag, billed under another name,(King of ponds) red flag, money taken out next day. Red flag will ship 3 to 5 days, e-mailed. Red flag, will ship 3 to 7, (e-mailed), days. Why in the name of Christ does someone not go down to Ga. and look these suckers up. Surely there is someone that has made a puchase that lives near there! There is a deal in Tx. called Tx justice. Its also, called opening a can of whoop A$$ on them crooks. We have been reading, so much crap about them. Our order is a bit under $50, but how do they keep doing this. Why is noone stopping them. A guy called me earlier from there and that was NO Ga. accent he had, it was up north.
So back to the stars, why the 5 stars?? Is that for your comments or it looks like the king of swords. We are already going to the bank and showing all the bbb papers etc. The fellow I spoke with, I just heard his voice he said, do you want your order or not and was very huffy and hung up. We have never seen so many #'s names etc. with one scammmer. So, many complaints so many people pi$$ed off. I would imagine we have had it also! This vent deal is not going to get the job done!Mr& Mrs Tx

King of Swords laughs at it's customers!

King of Swords owner Scott Marlatt and his business partner James Tiger (True Tiger Sales which is part of Descrufust Merchandising) laugh at their customers because they know that they can take your money and not send you the product you ordered and paid for. They know that no one out there will do anything about it. They have been in business for over eight (8) years ripping people off and laughing all the way to the bank. They have been operating their business in Marietta,GA and have had several complaints filed against them with the Cobb County Sheriff's Department and with several Attorney General's offices across the country but still they go on with business as usual.
I guess having the american dream of owning your own business means its ok to take money from people for products then don't send the product and laugh at the customer when they complain.

I just wanted to echo what everyone else is saying. Don't bother with kingofswords.com

I ordered something from them, only to find out a week later that they don't actually have the item and that they can't order more. Why its on their website, I don't know, but I suspect many of their items are like this. They asked me to find another item on their site of the same value, and I demanded a refund. A week later and no refund or response yet.

For a year and a half they couldn't deliver the goods and returned the money only after internet fraud investigation was started. Their e-mails were rude and very unprofessional. Steer clear from these cheating b'stards.

King of Swords is a Rip Off Site!! Buyer Beware!

I too was ripped off by this company. I purchased an Airsoft Rifle, and they never confirmed the order, never answered emails or phone calls (made at least 5), and requested that they cancel the order. They charged my card, and NEVER delivered the goods, and never refunded my money. I have reported them to the BBB in GA, and contacted my credit card company. Do not buy from these people!

Go to the better business bureau website located in that particular state and look up KIngofSwords. There is a number on that site you can look up. Best time to call is in the morning about 10 a.m. By luck, you may actually reach someone. I tried it and by accident nailed their cell phone. Keep at every single day. They are tricky cusses. It's not gauranteed to work and might get the run around, but it is a chance.......Good luck. I'd also report them to the Better Business Bureau anyway just for the sake of it. I hope it works. Better than nothing. Remember check your credit cards expiration date for reporting them for failure of service. Most are usually within 30 to 60 Days. DON'T let that expire. If you don't hear from them within close to a month. Report them to credit card company and let the credit card refund you for the difference and let them deal with KingofSwords. (Follow the policy of your credit card to the tee.) Word of the wise on that one. They WILL give you the run aroud as most have figured. Don't let them!! Any way to earn interest on your hard earned money. I hope this helps anyone. Good luck to anyone who reads this! Buyer beware.

After reading of your complaints with KingOfSwords.com i decided to check their website out in more depth. i normally don't even look around a site if it looks as ridiculously frivilous as that one does, but i gave it a look and found that they blatantly make things up. for example

ridiculous, they say that this sword, the kit rae exotath sword, in this case a special edition one with a damascus steel blade, they claim that it was folded 256 times to a total of 1792 layers. Not only does this show a devastatingly horrible grasp of simple math, it also demonstrates a complete lack of knowledge of the product they are selling

after that first embarrassment, i kept looking. and found this:

their section of "battle ready" or "handmade" swords.........shameful. absolutely shameful.
their top two rows of swords are in fact, stainless steel wallhangers. of course, it doesn't state this on their sight, other than to say that the blade material is 440 stainless steel. simply ludicrous. after that, i'd seen enough. i went to their contact us page and proceeded to.... contact them. not that it'll end up making a difference, from what i've read above, they won't even read it.

this sort of mis-representation is disgusting and it is the reason that there are so many misconceptions about swords, if only more people were like paul and the rest of the SBG/SMG gang. you guys are fantastic.

I agree. I am a victim of their audacity. I have ordered three swords that totalled $332.40. That was in September 2008. I had the same thing happen to me. I made the mistake of not reporting to credit card company. My mistake and lack of knowledge and good judgement. I had to chase after them with constant e-mail asking where my swords with either being out of stock or stuck in customs for which eventually I had request a refund. That was December 2, 2008. No refund. I inquired further with e-mails. Sorry for delay and will get refund asap. No refund after all that time. Some more e-mails, phone calls, reporting to BBB (no response to the Better Business Bureau so far), no refund, no return! Buyer BBEWARE!!!!! This is definetly making me a victim of unethical internet activity or just plain BAD business or possible fraud. Now it's almost May. You do the math. I noticed a growing number of complaints against them. I am among them! Plesae be careful to any who read this!!!! DON'T buy from King of Swords!!!!! Try e-bay, I had better luck!

As far as I'm concerned, they're not rated well anywhere.

Kingofswords.com is not a rip-off. They have a very high rating and excellent customer service and staff. They work 7 days a week until 7 PM on week nights. They make it their 1st priority every day to handle any new orders. They do not sit on them, ever. Their response to many that I know has been quick and handled appropriately. They have the best selection available with many resources. I have never had any problems with any of my orders over the years.
