Do not buy from Kingofswords.com!!!

Hi Paul! I just thought I'd share to the people some really helpful and useful information to help get your knew site goin which by the way, I think is great!

I purchased a sword from kingofswords.com in August 2007. It cost me over $150! I was given an order confirmation and an estimated date to when they'll ship to my location. 4 days had passed and they still never shipped my order.

I contacted them and they said it was still being processed. So I waited for about 2 weeks and they still had not shipped my order. I tried contacting them again but they never responded. I've sent dozens of emails and left messages on their phone but I had not gotten a reponse. I checked the status of my order on their site and it still sais "order processing/pending".

So I decided to cancel the order and get a refund, but guess what, they never canceled it. I tried contacting them again hundreds of times but I still have not recieved even one response. It is now December of 2007 and they still haven't issued me a refund and they also have not bothered to contact me. December of 2007, that's 4 MONTHS!

As you can see, they owe me over 150 DOLLARS which is a lot of money! I am now in the process of fileing a dispute against kingofswords.com. So please take extreme caution when ordering from their website. They have really bad customer service and they are criminals.

In my opinion, don't even try ordering from kingofswords.com, just don't. They are a really bad company. They're webiste may look flashy, but don't fall into their trap. Remember the old saying, "looks can be decieving".

Go to the better business bureau website located in that particular state and look up KIngofSwords. There is a number on that site you can look up. Best time to call is in the morning about 10 a.m. By luck, you may actually reach someone. I tried it and by accident nailed their cell phone. Keep at every single day. They are tricky cusses. It's not gauranteed to work and might get the run around, but it is a chance.......Good luck. I'd also report them to the Better Business Bureau anyway just for the sake of it. I hope it works. Better than nothing. Remember check your credit cards expiration date for reporting them for failure of service. Most are usually within 30 to 60 Days. DON'T let that expire. If you don't hear from them within close to a month. Report them to credit card company and let the credit card refund you for the difference and let them deal with KingofSwords. (Follow the policy of your credit card to the tee.) Word of the wise on that one. They WILL give you the run aroud as most have figured. Don't let them!! Any way to earn interest on your hard earned money. I hope this helps anyone. Good luck to anyone who reads this! Buyer beware.

i ordered something from kingofsword's and never got it what a rip off this people are getting away with this shit can't anyone take them down i am going to contact the attorney general there and other's to file a complaint if anyone know's a good way to get money back from them here's my email taoistmonk@comcast.net

After reading of your complaints with KingOfSwords.com i decided to check their website out in more depth. i normally don't even look around a site if it looks as ridiculously frivilous as that one does, but i gave it a look and found that they blatantly make things up. for example

ridiculous, they say that this sword, the kit rae exotath sword, in this case a special edition one with a damascus steel blade, they claim that it was folded 256 times to a total of 1792 layers. Not only does this show a devastatingly horrible grasp of simple math, it also demonstrates a complete lack of knowledge of the product they are selling

after that first embarrassment, i kept looking. and found this:

their section of "battle ready" or "handmade" swords.........shameful. absolutely shameful.
their top two rows of swords are in fact, stainless steel wallhangers. of course, it doesn't state this on their sight, other than to say that the blade material is 440 stainless steel. simply ludicrous. after that, i'd seen enough. i went to their contact us page and proceeded to.... contact them. not that it'll end up making a difference, from what i've read above, they won't even read it.

this sort of mis-representation is disgusting and it is the reason that there are so many misconceptions about swords, if only more people were like paul and the rest of the SBG/SMG gang. you guys are fantastic.

I agree. I am a victim of their audacity. I have ordered three swords that totalled $332.40. That was in September 2008. I had the same thing happen to me. I made the mistake of not reporting to credit card company. My mistake and lack of knowledge and good judgement. I had to chase after them with constant e-mail asking where my swords with either being out of stock or stuck in customs for which eventually I had request a refund. That was December 2, 2008. No refund. I inquired further with e-mails. Sorry for delay and will get refund asap. No refund after all that time. Some more e-mails, phone calls, reporting to BBB (no response to the Better Business Bureau so far), no refund, no return! Buyer BBEWARE!!!!! This is definetly making me a victim of unethical internet activity or just plain BAD business or possible fraud. Now it's almost May. You do the math. I noticed a growing number of complaints against them. I am among them! Plesae be careful to any who read this!!!! DON'T buy from King of Swords!!!!! Try e-bay, I had better luck!

yeah i had a very similar problem....they gave me some crap about it being stuck in customs..they lied about things...i dont really feel like typing alot now so all i am saying is, dont order from them.

If you google "kingofswords.com," you can immediately find links to reviews of dissatisfaction on the first page.

As far as I'm concerned, they're not rated well anywhere.

Kingofswords.com is not a rip-off. They have a very high rating and excellent customer service and staff. They work 7 days a week until 7 PM on week nights. They make it their 1st priority every day to handle any new orders. They do not sit on them, ever. Their response to many that I know has been quick and handled appropriately. They have the best selection available with many resources. I have never had any problems with any of my orders over the years.
