Deepeeka Swords Experience.

by Zac Coppleman

In recent years I have only owned one Deepeeka sword. This is known as the brass pommel war sword (or Celtic sword). I have found it to be a sturdy sword, overall. I have used this sword for training on a wooden pell and it has stood up to the test very well. The handle is made of wood and it only has a tiny hairline crack after such severe beatings.

I am a member of a Dark Ages/Medieval historical re-enactment group and we even use some of their two handed swords in combat.

Deepeeka swords I have used:

1) Wallace Claymore
This sword has proven itself worthy of combat by all means. It is a strong, effecting weapon and we have not had any breakages with it so far. It is a tad heavy for my liking, but if you are of strong build, this is a great sword.

2) Gothic Bastardsword
This sword is a great looking item. It is a good weight and looks the part. Unfortunately, when used as a practical sword, it doesn't hold up. Our group tested them out, they seemed promising, but the tang just couldn't take the stress. We had several handles falling apart and blades flying out.

Overall, like you have stated, the quality really depends on the batch. Some are great and others are not so great.

Regards.

Deepeeka Viking Seax
by: Zac Coppleman

I forgot to add I also have one of their Viking Seaxes with black buffalo horn handle.

Blade: Very thick edge, very sturdy great for practical use. Double pinned full tang.

Sheath: Very thick leather, rather strong and sturdy.

Historical Accracy: A bit big compared to real Viking seaxes and the shape of the hande is a tas more bent but other that that, its all god. 7/10.

Zac.
