Shura is on top.
I've only purchased 1 sword from Cheness cutlery, but I was so impressed by their Shura 9260 Through-Hardened Katana that I would whole heartedly recommend them to anyone who is interested in a Japanese style sword.
I feel that they are the most durable Katana on the market hands down! (Except for Cold Steel's maybe, but then they handled like a metal pipe!)
I (who have no formal training whatsoever) was able to take my Shura into battle against a tripled rolled soaked beach mat with a dowel center, which I thought was going to be blade suicide! It cut the sucker cleanly, and did absolutely no damage to the blade at all!
I was impressed, nay awed, by the sheer durability of Cheness's offering, and again, I would recommend them to anyone in an instant! When you have to defend yourself against zombies, zombie penguins or anything else, this is the thing to have!
