I read many posts about pricing wars and customer service issues when it comes to Sword Dealers on the Web.

I, like everyone else, have hunted the many Sword dealing sites on the web. New ones seem to pop up daily. I came across Collectible swords USA while doing a google search for a Hanwei Sword. The site was not impressive, meaning it had no "pop", very "Plain Jane". No busy graphics, skins and images, other than product images and an ad or two. I placed my order for the Hanwei I was interested in and hoped for the best. As you do whenever you order from the web. I received my sword in the usual amount of time for UPS Ground shipments.

The price I paid was not the cheapest but certainly was a good price. When I opened the Factory sealed box that, by the way, was in an shipping box nicely packaged and protected with fragile stickers all over it, I found that the Tsuba was loose. I emailed them using their live chat support system since it was after 8:00 pm EST and they were not online! I then picked up the phone and figured I would call and leave a message at best.

Surprise, they answer the phone on the third ring! I spoke to Herb and explained the problem. Herb told me to return the sword and he would replace it as soon as he seen that the return was in the UPS system and had been picked up or dropped off. Herb was pleasant and apologetic even though it was a manufacturing issue and not one he could have controlled.

I received a "UPS call tag" via email that night and had my replacement in record time.
This is a site that I have and will recommend in the future and am going to use again.
Kudos to a web site that is serious about customer service and good pricing.

Oh yes, even though we spoke on the phone, Herb followed up with the email I originally sent through their live chat system. This is a must use site.
