Best sword for actual use I have!!!

by Roberto
(Saint Paul MN)

I have an AT 1506 of the older model w/ a "waisted" grip, bought in 2000 for a mere $400, and (though I haven't handled the newer one) that's my only issue--the old grip is so good, so comfortable and also so beautiful, I can't imagine how anything else could be an improvement. All in all though, Atrims are the BEST balance between quality and price, bar none! As good as any Albion or A&A, but barely more expensive than a Windlass--so I'm not afraid to use it. My 1506 is what I'll always choose for the vast majority of cutting practice. (Unless, of course, I get my hands on a 1557.)Gus needs to be cloned.
