i have only bought one masahiro blade and it was actually a pretty good sword...it was sharp as it was advertised....nothing wrong with the blade at all....the saya fits nice and snug....the display stand box wasnt that good but i have no use for that anyways....all in all though i like it alot....it was a tora or tiger series....i got it from trueswords for like 80 pretty much and really have no complaints...was planning on buying more from this brand so started looking it up and found this forum and was kinda taken by suprise....both my friend and i thought mine was a great sword and he owns quite a few good musashis that cost the same and mine was better....i just might have gotten lucky i guess

masahiro suprise
by: doktor gone

bought both a masahiro and a paul chen, went to my chem lab at my college and did a carbon composit test on both...
to my suprise paul chen had a lower C-count than advertised and the masahiro had a higher count than the paul chen.

in later stress tests, the masahiro suprised me again! the blade bent with the stress but the same amount of stress snaped the paul chen blade.

when it comes to a sword, the function outweights the look, while masahiro isnt always the pretty boy of the bunch it is far stronger than the more expensive paul chen.
your sword is your most trusted friend, shoudnt it be a strong friendship?
