A&A is Unequaled in Historical Accuracy and Craftsmanship

by Phillip Owens
(Eagan, Mn, USA)

I own several quality pieces crafted by Arms & Armor: three swords, four dagers, two pole arms and a war hammer, among others which I have purchased over the years.

As I entered the world of sword collecting and study of the medieval period, I was lookng for a sword vendor.

At first, with my level of inexperience in the field, the prices of these fine quality A&A weapons rather frightened me. However, my first venture into internet sword purchases, going for low price from a well known maker left me disapointed and taught me a valuable lesson. Fortunately, a rather inexpensive lesson.

As the saying goes, "you get what you pay for"
There is in my mind, absoutly no substitute for the historical knowledge and high quality craftsmanship of Arms and Armor when purchasing a sword or other medieval weapon. A&A weapons are not look a likes, but actual replicas of known museum peices.

In the case of Arms & Armor, you actually get more than you pay for, in that their weapons are priced, I think, below their value when compaired to other high end makers. These weapons are hand crafted, and no two are exactly alike. There are some imperfections, just like in the originals. But the historical accuracy, craftsmanship, beauty, weight and balance of these weapons are unequaled.

Christopher Poor, Craig Johnson and the other fine craftsmen at A&A consistantly provide a high quality, historically accurate weapon and I am quite pleased with those that I own. You can not go wrong doing business with the fine folks at Arms & Armor.
