New Product Development

Darksword Armory

Darksword Armory founder, Eyal Azerad, announced that there would be a new sword to join their line of tough, battle-ready swords. This new sword is said to be a german executioner's sword modeled after a piece in a small antique shop that Eyal Azerad visited as a teenager. As part of this announcement, Darksword Armory released a concept drawing of this executioner's sword:

Albion Swords LLC.

Albion has had a concept drawing of the Marxbruder, a German langes messer, up on their website for a long time. Finally, there are some pictures of the developement process of this highly anticipated sword. Here are a couple pictures of the wax castings for the pommel and the cross on a mock-up of the blade:

New Product Releases

Scorpion Bows and Knives

Not our typical faire, but for those who have an interest in ancient swords, this is sure to be exciting news: SBK has released a ancientKhopesh. This sword features a sturdy 5160 spring steel construction with pinned and glued scales of burned osage.

Hot Topics

Darksword Armory's Sword Contest

Darksword Amory's sword constest has closed the period for new submissions, and the competition is pretty stiff. The voting will begin sometime early next week. Darksword Armory will choose the three winning designs and give them away as prizes to the designers before the designs are potentially put into production.
